What This Indicator Does
This comprehensive tool combines four essential ICT concepts into one powerful indicator:
🟢 Fair Value Gaps (FVG) - Automatically detects and displays bullish and bearish imbalance zones where price is likely to return. These appear as translucent green (bullish) or red (bearish) filled zones that persist until filled by price action.
🔵 Liquidity Zones - Identifies buyside (orange) and sellside (cyan) liquidity pools at pivot highs and lows. These are the areas where institutional traders hunt for stop losses and pending orders.
⚡ Market Structure Shift (MSS) - Marks significant trend reversals with solid horizontal lines and clear labels, helping you identify when the market changes direction.
📊 Break of Structure (BOS) - Shows trend continuation points with dotted lines, indicating when price breaks key levels in the direction of the prevailing trend.
After trading with ICT concepts for years, I noticed most indicators on takeprofit were either too cluttered or missing key features. I wanted something that:
This indicator uses TakeProfit's @plot.fill()
feature to render zones efficiently. FVG and liquidity zones automatically disappear when filled or swept, keeping your charts clean and focused on current opportunities.
What They Are: Price imbalances created when the market moves too quickly, leaving "gaps" in fair value between three consecutive candles.
How to Identify:
Trading Strategy: Wait for price to retrace into the FVG zone before entering trades in the direction of the gap. FVGs act as support (bullish) or resistance (bearish) zones.
On Your Chart: Translucent filled rectangles that span from the gap bottom to top. They disappear when price completely fills the gap.
What They Are: Price levels where large amounts of pending orders and stop losses accumulate - institutional traders target these zones.
How to Identify:
Trading Strategy: Watch for "liquidity sweeps" where price briefly touches these zones before reversing. This indicates institutional accumulation.
On Your Chart: Colored rectangular zones with height based on ATR. They disappear when price sweeps through them.
What It Is: A trend reversal signal - when price breaks a key swing high in a downtrend or swing low in an uptrend.
Trading Strategy: MSS marks potential trend reversals. Look for confirmation with FVG or liquidity sweeps before entering counter-trend trades.
On Your Chart: Solid horizontal lines with "MSS" labels in green (bullish) or red (bearish).
What It Is: Trend continuation - when price breaks a swing high in an uptrend or swing low in a downtrend.
Trading Strategy: BOS confirms the trend is still active. Use these as confirmation for trend-following entries.
On Your Chart: Dotted horizontal lines with "BOS" labels in green (bullish) or red (bearish).
✅ Combine Multiple Signals: Don't trade on FVG alone - wait for liquidity sweeps or structure confirmation
✅ Respect Higher Timeframes: Check 4H and daily charts for major structure before taking trades on lower timeframes
✅ Wait for Confirmation: Let price show its hand before entering - patience prevents false entries
✅ Use Proper Risk Management: FVGs and liquidity zones help with tight stop losses but always use 1-2% risk per trade
❌ Don't Chase: If you missed the entry at the FVG, wait for the next setup
❌ Avoid Low Volatility: This indicator works best during active market sessions (London/New York open)
